| I watched as two walked, so engulfed in conversation that they barely noticed the things around them. They walked, they didn’t see the clouds roll back, and they didn’t see the sky open up. Something was happening or was about to happen. One stopped, he could hear something in the distance. He didn’t know what it was, but he felt that it was a sound that he had longed to hear for so long. It seemed to get louder and louder. Suddenly he knew, he looked up and knew this was the day he had waited for. The trumpet had sounded. From his vantagepoint on the hill he could see far away. Everywhere he looked, he saw what looked likea cloud rising toward the heavens. Then he felt it, he too was on his way. Yes, he was ready for this day! He had prepared for it, he had prayed for it. Now it was finally here and he had another thought on his mind. As he rose toward the sky, ever closer to the meeting with his Savior he had so longed for, he could only think of one thing. That one thing was the friend he left below because he never told him about Jesus. tsf |

| That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Matthew 24:39b-40 |
| In our day, not many people are watching for the coming of Lord. In fact, a lot of professed Christians are waiting for the coming tribulation instead of the coming of the Lord. What a confused bunch! We should not be waiting for the wrath of God, but we should be waiting for his salvation (1 Thessalonians 5:9)! The Bible says that those who wait for the Lord are blessed! And just like those people in Noah's day, people in our day will wish they would have repented and watched for the Lord Jesus after it's too late. "12:37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching... 12:39 And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through. 12:40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not." - Luke 12:37,39-40 |

| IF THE RAPTURE WERE TO HAPPEN TODAY, WOULD YOU BE READY? YES NO 8 COMPELLING REASONS WHY JESUS CHRIST IS COMING SOON!!! |
| Jesus will return! The Bible promises us that Jesus will return to take His faithful followers with Him to live with Him in His glorious presence forever. Everyone else will be left behind to face God's wrath and judgment. If Jesus were to return today, do you know if He would take you with Him to heaven? This is the most important question you will ever answer--do whatever it takes to make your future secure. Don't be left behind!
The nature of God never changes. He is unchanging in His holiness and His righteousness. God said, "I am the Lord [God], I change not" (Malachi 3:6). God is a God of judgment. The Bible says that the Lord shall judge the ends of the earth. Every secret thing will be brought to light. There is a day of judgment coming. That has not changed. What will happen when Christ comes? Sin, suffering, and death will be eliminated. Peace will be established on the earth. When Christ comes, the Kingdom of God will triumph! But it has been 2,000 years since that promise was made. The Apostle Peter said people are going to ask, "Where is the promise of His coming?" (cf. 2 Peter 3:4). What's wrong? Has something happened? No, everything is going right along according to God's time-table. That's the way He meant it to be, so that we will come to Him by simple faith and accept Him into our hearts as Lord and Savior (cf. 2 Peter 3:8-9). What do you have to do to be ready when Jesus comes again? Maybe at this moment God's peace and His joy and His love are not yours. The assurance of salvation is not yours, and you'd like to make sure. Repent of your sins. Say, "Lord, I'm sorry. I'm willing to change my way of thinking and living, and I'm ready to bring my whole life under the Lordship of Jesus Christ." By faith receive Christ as your Lord and Savior, and you will have a personal relationship with Him. You can do that right now, today. |
